KIB-TEK deadline for applications on decree for electricity debts 13th March

The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) has announced March 13th,2023, as the deadline for applications in line with the decree on the accounts receivable collections.
Disputed bills derived from incorrect invoicing transactions by KIB-TEK that have been disputed due to inaccurate multiplier entry and/or excessive KWH reading or consumers who have not been able to fulfil their payment commitment of amnesty laws applied in the past will also have the right to cancel their existing contracts and re-apply.
Consumers who have been taken to court by KIB-TEK due to unpaid debts in the past, and are either in the law proceeding process or have been sentenced will also have the right to benefit within the scope of the decree rules.
