The Iskele Municipality has announced that folk dance performances, the
lantern procession and marching band and light dance performances of the Republic in line with the 15 November Republic Day celebrations program have been cancelled due to the treacherous terrorist attack in Taksim Square, Istanbul Türkiye.
In a written statement from the municipality, it was announced that within the framework of the 39th-anniversary celebrations of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, changes have been made to the ceremony program to be held in İskele, at 10:00 today and that no catering service will be carried out.
