“Helicopter support will always be on standby”

Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz said that technical support was continuing at the site of the fire to prevent new flare-ups adding that ground cooling efforts, inspections and work will continue to take place for a week to 10 days.
Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Oğuz stated that heavy machinery was being used to widen spaces adding that fire teams were continuing ground efforts.
Minister Oğuz noted that a fire-fighting helicopter from the Republic of Türkiye and a helicopter equipped with a fire apparatus belonging to the Security Forces Command is on standby for any kind of air support required.
