Health Ministry “Masks are compulsory again”




The new measures announced by the Health Ministry following the decisions taken by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases in line with the Infectious Diseases Law 45/2018 are as follows:

-Masks are mandatory in closed spaces and on public transport.
-Warnings have been issued for social distancing and hygiene in open and closed spaces.
-Those suffering from upper respiratory problems are advised to wear masks in open or closed spaces.

The Health Ministry has published the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases weekly report dated July 6-12 of COVID 19 cases on the Health Ministry website.

Total number of Covid 19 tests carried out: 16,692
Total number of positive cases detected: 2, 776
Total number of deaths of Covid 19: 2 deaths (aged 75 and 90)

16,63% of positive tests were reported this week in comparison to 11,93% last week.
Weekly tests carried out: 16,692
Weekly positive cases: 2,776
Covid 19 deaths: 2
Total number of tests carried out: 7,096.998
Total number of Covid 19 cases: 103,034
Total number of recoveries:100,293
Total number of Covid 19 deaths: 241
