Working outdoors between 12 pm - 4 pm prohibited!

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has banned working in the open air and under the sun due to temperatures being above seasonal norms between 12 pm to 4 pm as of tomorrow.
The decision has been published in the Official Gazette.
Following meteorological data from the Meteorology Department and also taking into account the sensitivity of the Cyprus Turkish Contractors Union and the Cyprus Turkish Subcontractors Union, the Labor and Social Security Ministry said that the ban was put in force as temperatures between 4-31 August were expected to be above seasonal norms.
The ministry said that the Labor Law article 36 has been enforced to protect the health of workers who are constantly working outdoors or under the sun between 12 pm - 4 pm.
