According to the Meteorology Department, the region will be under the influence of a hot and humid air mass with a low-pressure system today (Monday, August 15th.)
Temperatures are expected to be at seasonal norms with moderate southerly and westerly winds becoming strong at times.
Skies will be slightly cloudy becoming partly cloudy from time to time.
Temperatures will be about 29-37 degrees inland and on the coast.
The capital Lefkoşa is recorded to be around 37 degrees.
THE POSSIBILITY OF FOREST FIRE IS HIGH! The Meteorology Department has warned that the fire risk is high. ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION IS VERY HIGH! Individuals should avoid being under the sun for more than 10 minutes, especially between the hours of 11 am and 4 pm.
