Temperatures are expected to be around 36-39 degrees inland during the week, it has been reported.

According to the Meteorology Department, the weather will be mostly clear and partly cloudy until July 13th, with partial fog expected in the mornings on the 8th and 9th of July.

The highest temperature is expected to be around 36-39 degrees inland and around 32-35 degrees on the coast, the met office reports.

Winds will blow Southerly and Westerly moderate becoming strong at times, reports say.
