According to the Met office, the weather today is expected to be cool and humid.

Temperatures are expected to be at seasonal average, and winds are predicted to blow moderately from the South and West.

Skies will be cloudy to partly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms forecast.

Temperatures will be around 25-33 degrees inland and on the coast.

The capital Lefkoşa is forecast to be around 33 degrees Celsius.

FOREST FIRES RİSK HIGH.

The Met Office warned of the risk of forest fires as winds will be blowing from the north and west at 20-28km an hour.

BEWARE OF ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION Ultraviolet radiation is reported as moderate.

The public is advised not to stay in the sun unprotected especially during the hours of 11 am-4 pm.
