Two new power generators arrive in North Cyprus

The two power generators sent by Türkiye arrived in North Cyprus this morning.
The two generators, 25MWs each, are being unloaded at the Gazimağusa port.
The Minister of Finance Sunat Atun said that power cuts will be a thing of the past once the two power generators are installed and up and running.
In a written statement issued on Tuesday, Finance Minister Sunat Atun said that an extremely strategic approach and effort was required to produce and supply electricity.
He said that no economic activity in the country could be planned without solving the electricity problem.
Highlighting the importance of electricity production and securing energy supply, Atun said that they will overcome the current problems being faced. (Source BRT)
