Turkish VP Fuat Oktay to hold contacts in North Cyprus

Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay will hold a series of contacts is in North Cyprus.
Oktay who will arrive in the republic this morning will be greeted by President Ersin Tatar at Ercan Airport.
President Ersin Tatar together with the visiting Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay will board a helicopter and tour the fire stricken area to see firsthand the damage caused.
Following the inspection, the two men will visit the crisis centre desk established in the village of Mersinlik.
The Turkish Vice President Oktay is expected to make a short statement here.
Meanwhile, President Ersin Tatar and the Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay will hold a meeting at the President Palace later today.
A joint press conference is expected to follow.
