Turkish Cypriot leader Tatar conveys condolences to Christodoulides

Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar who spoke to the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulides over the phone conveyed his condolences on the death of the two Greek Cypriot university students, following the tragic train accident in Greece. Expressing his heartfelt sorrow to Christodoulides, Tatar said that he was saddened to hear the news of the death of the 57 people and the two Greek Cypriot students confirmed so far in the train accident in Greece.

Meanwhile, Christodoulides for his part referred to the tragic disaster incidents taking place one after the other in the region recently and thanked Tatar for his condolence message.

A passenger train collided with a freight train in the Tempi region, north of Larisa, in Greece on Tuesday.
