TDP and TKP have united under the name of the New Forces Social Democracy Party

Communal Democracy Party (TDP) and the Communal Liberation Party (TKP) have united under the name of the New Forces "Communal Democracy Party".
The name of TDP and the logo of TKP will be used following the unification of the parties.
TDP leader Mine Atlı and TKP New Forces leader Mehmet Çakıcı announced the joining of their parties, at a press conference held today in the capital Lefkoşa.
The TDP and TKP aim to complete the bylaw agreements before the upcoming local elections to participate in the upcoming local elections as a whole.
