TC leader Tatar “We are waiting for concrete steps against the isolations”

Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar who spoke at the extraordinary summit of the heads of state meeting of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) demanded concrete steps to be taken against the isolation imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people.
"I believe that together we will overcome the inhumane isolations imposed on my people, and I express that we expect concrete steps from you towards this issue,” Tatar said in an address at the summit.
Tatar also emphasized that his country represents the rights and interests of the Turkish presence and the Turkic world in the Eastern Mediterranean
Upon an invitation of Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Ankara, Tatar attended the heads of state extraordinary summit of the "Disaster-Emergency Management and Humanitarian Aid (AFAD)" held under the Organization of Turkic States at the Presidential Complex.
The Extraordinary Summit Heads of State meeting of the Organization of Turkic States, of which North Cyprus is an observer country, was held upon the proposal of Azerbaijan.
The summit commenced with an opening address by President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Erdoğan also mentioned the TRNC in his speech, Tatar said.

Addressing the summit, Erdoğan expressed his pleasure to see the TC leader Ersin Tatar among them.
“Our family council has become stronger with the participation of the TRNC. We have embodied our support for the Turkish Cypriot people. We will continue our struggle for the recognition of the TRNC and the removal of the isolations that the Turkish Cypriot people have been subjected to,” he said.
