Tatar and Erdoğan met in New York

Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar who attended the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations held a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Türkevi in New York.

Tatar, in his social media account, said, “I met with the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Türkevi in New York.

On behalf of myself and my people, I thanked him for calling for the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in his historic speech at the UN General Assembly”
