TAK Starting English News Service…

Turkish News Agency Cyprus is starting English news service as of today.
Already serving in three branches as “Turkish”, “Greek Cypriot Press” and “Photography” TAK will be serving English news to its subscribers starting from today pursuant to the activation of the new internet site and the completion of the pre-studies.
Director of TAK Dr. Fehmi Gürdallı, stated the Agency which is using “twitter” effectively and is followed by foreign users, stressed that TAK aims to strengthen its position of being a “reference news source” by starting publications in English.
Underlining that one of the missions of TAK is to make the voice of Turkish Cypriots to be heard through the whole world, Gürdallı stressed they would have a chance to fulfil that mission better with English news service.
Gürdallı also added that their next target is starting news service in Greek.
