Taçoy “102 workers out of 509 unregistered!”

Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy, stated that inspections at workplaces are extensively continuing and that all controls regarding working life, especially Health and Safety at Work were being monitored by inspectors working under the ministry. Minister Taçoy who spoke following a newspaper report on the issue said that, in the last two months, Health and Safety inspections were carried out at 17 construction sites and inspections on the illegal working force at 182 workplaces. Stating that 102 of 509 employees were detected as illegal during inspections carried out in September-October, Taçoy noted that the necessary warnings and penalties were applied at the workplaces in question.
