Rules for crossings to be tightened

The bilateral Technical Committee on Health has decided that, in view of the epidemiological situation on the island, it is justified to invoke the emergency mechanism and move to level 3 (red) as of Monday, July 12, at 10am.

The relevant rules for level 3 (red) will be as below:

Fully vaccinated people with EMA-approved vaccines as well as the Sinovac, Sinopharm or Sputnik vaccines, can cross with a 7-day negative rapid antigen test or PCR test, 14 days after their final dose (1st dose if Johnson& Johnson).

Unvaccinated people (including unvaccinated workers and people who will cross for health reasons) can cross with a 72-hour negative rapid antigen test or PCR test.

However, unvaccinated high school students and people residing in Kato Pyrgos will be able to cross with a 7-day negative rapid antigen test or PCR test.
