One person arrested with import-restricted cartridges

One person attempting to smuggle 75 import-restricted cartridges from the south to the north via the Bostancı checkpoint in Güzelyurt today was detected by customs officials. Police report that the individual was caught red-handed with the illegal cartridges in the vehicle he was driving whilst attempting to cross over to the north. The person in question has been arrested and an investigation into the incident continues.
