Met Office: Showers expected today

According to the Meteorology Department, a low-pressure system with a cool and humid atmosphere is predicted for today. Temperatures are expected to be 2-4 degrees under the seasonal norms. Winds will be southerly and westerly moderate becoming stronger from time to time.

Today will be cloudy becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with some showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures will be around 26-30 degrees inland and on the coast.

And Lefkoşa will be around 30 degrees Celsius.
