KIB-TEK put under the authority of Prime Ministry

The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) which was under the authority of the Finance Ministry has been put under the Prime Ministry.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel issued a statement on the issue stating that Kıb-Tek was put under the Prime Ministry upon the deemed necessasary following the latest developments experienced.

Prime Minister Üstel said that those who are responsible for victimizing and causing problems towards the public will be held accountable.

Üstel noted that they will take all necessary measures to ensure that Kıb-Tek will supply uninterrupted energy in an efficient, proper and accountable manner.
