Investigation ongoing, 2 arrested

Two people have been arrested, while efforts to battle the blaze that started yesterday around 2pm and spread due to winds in the Mersinlik village area of İskele.
Reports say that 2 thousand 600 acres of land have been destroyed so far in the area.
It was reported that a firefighter who was injured during the firefighting efforts and three people that were affected by the smoke were taken to the hospital.
The Ardahan-Mersinlik road has been closed to the public due to the fire.
