General Assembly convened for an extraordinary session

The Republics Assembly convened at noon today for an extraordinary session.
The parliament that was called for an extraordinary session during the summer recess began two hours later than scheduled.
The (special) draft law on merging the municipalities and the election of a council clerk will also take place during the meeting.
Municipal union organisations against the draft law on decreasing municipality numbers from 28 to 18 are continuing to protest outside of parliament.

Issues on the agenda were presented during the meeting and the draft was discussed.
