An autopsy was carried out on 20-year-old Rachael Oluwapelumı Sodeke, who became ill at home in Gönyeli but died while being taken to hospital by family members. According to a police statement, "blood and tissue" samples were taken for the autopsy procedure to determine the cause of Sodeke’s death. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
