Environment Protections Department: “Music prohibited at entertainment venues!”

Environmental Protection Department has announced that businesses have been prohibited from playing music until further notice. The Deputy Prime Minister, Ministry of Tourism, Youth, Culture and Environment have announced that all events planned under the affiliated departments have been cancelled due to the earthquake disaster in Türkiye. It has been noted that all venues with permission from the Environmental Protection Department have been prohibited from playing music as of February 7th until further notice. Businesses which do not have a music permit are already prohibited from playing music under Environmental Law No. 18/2012. Legal sanctions will be imposed on those who do not comply with the mentioned bans within the scope of the Environment Law.
