Emergency call from Iskele municipality

Iskele Municipality has made an emergency call, stating that the fire in Mersinlik has changed direction with the effects of the wind.

ATTENTION TO THE PEOPLE OF ALTINOVA-AĞILLAR AND TOPCUKÖY!
THE UPPER PART OF THE LAND OF THE BANGOLAR AREA URGENTLY NEEDS TO BE PLOWED.

Due to the changing direction of the wind following the ongoing fire in Mersinlik, the privately-owned uncultivated lands, located in the upper part of what is known as "BANGOLAR" between Altınova- Ağıllar and Topçuköy, and especially close to forest land, pose a threat.
Citizens, who own land in the region, need to plough their land very urgently. Tractor owners are kindly requested to assist the landowners.
