Hot weather continues

The Meteorology Department announced that temperatures will be around 43-46 degrees Celsius due to a high humidity rate and warned citizens to be cautious.

In a written statement the Meteorology Department issued a warning "Beware of high temperatures”.

The Met Office advised authorities and citizens to be vigilant as it shared news of the meteorological data analysis; Although temperatures will be around 38-41 ºC inland and 33-36 ºC on the coast, the highest temperature values will be felt at around 43-46 degrees Celsius due to the high moisture level. It also warned of inland early morning fog.
