Areas affected most by rainfall

The Meteorology Department reported that Mesarya was the most affected area by downpours according to its latest 24-hour report.

According to the met office 24-hour report, the kilograms (kg) of rain recorded per square meter from 17th-18th October 2022

46kg per square meter was recorded at the State Hatchery, 41 kg at Gazimağusa, 36 kg at Pile, Lefkoşa- Dörtyol 35 kg, Ziyamet, Çayırova 32kg, Beyarmudu 31kg, Karaoğlanoğlu 29kg, Bostancı 27kg, Güzelyurt, Salamis 25kg, and 1-24kg per square meters in other regions.
