Applications for the State Photograph competition are beginning

The Department of Culture announced that applications for the State Photo Competition will be accepted as of December 7th. Applications for the competition, organized with the support of Telsim, can only be submitted online until January 27th 2023, the department said. The competition organized every year in 3 categories, will be held in 6 categories this year. Along with the freestyle (Black & White), freestyle (Colorful), and nature (Colourful-Black White) categories, this year's work from Ahmet Vural Behaeddin of (Colourful-Black White) this year my city Lefke, conceptual (free) and classicalism (Black &White) has been included. The Photographer with the Most Exhibited Works, the Cultural Department Special Award and the Special Jury Award will also be given in addition to the success and honourable awards of the 6 categories at the State Photography Competition. The monetary prizes will be 5,000 TL for the success awards, 2,500TL for the honourable awards, and 500TL for special awards.

For the first time this year, the exhibition of the State Photography Competition will be opened in Gazimağusa, Lefke and Girne alongside Lefkoşa.
