Applications for Sinevizyon International Film Festival have kick-started

Applications for the SINEVIZYON International Film Festival, organized annually by the Cyprus Turkish Cinema and Television Society have begun. According to a statement by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Cinema and Television Society, Müge Günay the first three documentary and short film directors will be awarded plaques out of a selection of a total of 20 films. The 5th SINEVIZYON International Film Festival will be held in memory of "Kubilay Cicibaba" and contestants will receive awards for 3 short films, 3 documentaries and Television awards in 7 categories. The film awards of the 5th SINEVIZYON International Film Festival will be handed out at a ceremony to be held in Antalya under the organization of the presidency of the Cyprus Turkish Cultural Society Antalya Branch. It reports that the television awards will be given at a ceremony to be held in North Cyprus. The statement notes that the income from all applications of the festival will be donated to the “Altın Patiler” Association. It also wished success to all directors and their teams for participating in the festival and promoting the films shot in the country and carrying its culture and art abroad which in turn contributes to the country’s tourism. The deadline for all applications is the 30th of April 2023.
