AK Party and New Azerbaijan Party delegations hold contacts in the TRNC

Turkish and Azerbaijani delegations, led by Türkiye’s Justice and Development Party (AK Party) deputy chairman Numan Kurtulmuş and New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) deputy chairman Tahir Budaqov are holding contacts in the TRNC.

Delegations last night arrived at the TRNC at the invitation of the National Unity Party (UBP) leader and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel.

Delegations were welcomed at the Ercan Airport by Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu, UBP Secretary General Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, and some UBP MPs and officials.

President Ersin Tatar has received the Turkish and Azerbaijani delegations led by Kurtulmuş and Budaqov at his presidency office.

Before meeting with President Ersin Tatar, the delegations were also received by Prime Minister Ünal Üstel at UBP’s headquarters in Lefkoşa and visited the Democrat Party (DP) and New Birth Party (YDP).

After their meetings, delegations are going to hold a joint press conference in Lefkoşa’s Concorde Hotel.
