12 Trade unions will launch shock strikes and protests as of today

12 trade unions condemned the lack of scheduling of the legal regulations for those hired under the “Immigration law” stating that they are being victimized by up to nearly 25% of salaries.
In a joint written statement, the 12 trade unions announced that ‘they were protesting the structure that did not stand by its promises.
As of today, the Maliye Sen from the Finance Ministry will carry out shock strike actions, and all trade unions depending on which organizations they belong to from Ercan Airport, the Civil Aviation Department, and the Marine Port Department will follow.
The statement signed by KAMU-SEN, KTAMS, KAMU-İŞ, KTÖS, KTOEÖS, TÜRK-SEN, HÜR-İŞ, KOOP-SEN, GÜÇ-SEN, MALİYE-SEN, HTKS, VERGİ-SEN stated that the unions would not be responsible for the victimization of the public during the protests to take place.
