40 pine trees and a 150-metre square area of dry grass burned, as a result of a fire in the forest area of Karaağaç, yesterday.
Police report that Fire Teams and Teams from the Forestry Department were able to extinguish the fire that started at around 3.45 pm on Tuesday.
An investigation into the incident is continuing.
