Kandili Observatory announced that a 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Türkiye in the Hatay province at around 8.04 pm (Cyprus time 7.04 pm).
The earthquake, which took place at a depth of 7.7 km, was also felt in Cyprus. Some citizens who felt the earthquake left their homes as a precaution.
It was also reported that two aftershocks with a magnitude of 3.6 at 8.07 pm and 4.0 at 8.13 pm were recorded, again centred in Hatay, Türkiye.
