A 26-year-old pedestrian who was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Tuesday on the old Lefkoşa-Gazimausa main road has died.
In a police report, it said that Agajan Seyidov (26) was hit by a vehicle yesterday at 5.45 pm on the old Lefkoşa-Gazimağusa main road.
Agajan Seyidov, was rushed to the Gazimağusa State Hospital but could not be saved, the report says.
While an investigation into the incident is continuing the driver of the vehicle who was arrested is being treated for injuries at the Gazimağusa State Hospital.
